Call for Papers (No.23)

The Center for South Asian Studies, Gifu Women’s University invites submissions for the forthcoming issue of its academic journal South Asian Affairs (No.23).

1. Aim of the Journal
South Asian Affairs aims to serve as a comprehensive academic journal covering a wide range of topics related to South Asia.

2. Scheduled Publication
March 2027

3. Types of Submissions
Research papers, research notes, reports, materials, book reviews, and essays. All submissions must be previously unpublished.

4. Eligibility
There are no restrictions on eligibility for submission.

5. Length of Manuscripts
Research papers: approx. 40 pages; Research notes: approx. 30 pages; Essays: approx. 10 pages.

6. Language
Submissions may be written in either Japanese or English.

7. Submission Deadline
December 31, 2026

8. Review Process
All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by referees designated by the Editorial Committee. Final decisions regarding acceptance will be made by the Editorial Committee.
