<The History
and Activities of IJFAB>
The IJFAB is founded in 1984 by the initiatives of those scholars who at different stages researched in and collaborated with Japanese scholars. The IJFAB is recognised as an affiliate of the Indo-Japanese Association (Tokyo, Japan) and the Cultural Information Centre, Embassy of Japan in New Delhi. The IJFAB is a NGO/Voluntary organisation of people who love Japan and help Japanese friends to study and collaborate with their Indian counterparts. Every year many Japanese visitors, coming to Varanasi, contact the IJFAB and seek its help and support at various levels, like field research, contacting persons, academic collaboration, tourism, etc. |
